How it works
The rules
How floors are ranked
- Your floor depends on one number: the total your company has paid. The highest total gets the top floor.
- Nobody votes or reviews, and we don't choose favourites. We can't move a floor up or down for any other reason.
- If two companies have paid the same total, the one that joined first stays higher.
What it costs
- The minimum payment is $5, in whole US dollars.
- Your floor goes live right after payment. That is the service delivered, so payments are non-refundable. See the refund policy.
- To take the top floor, your total must be at least $1 more than the current leader's.
- Payments add up. Use the same website again and you only pay the extra amount.
- Someone can outbid you at any time. We don't promise any floor for any length of time.
- If two people pay at nearly the same moment, the final order is decided by the totals once both payments are confirmed.
What you get
- Your floor on the tower, with your name, logo, description and link.
- A ranking in your category, counted the same way: by total paid.
- Your own company page and a badge for your website. The badge updates by itself.
- A public visitor count. Each person counts once a day per floor, and known bots are left out. Visitors reach your site with
ref=outbidtoweradded to the link, so you can check them in your own analytics. - Optional outbid alerts: if you give us an email when you pay, we tell you when another company passes you, at most once a day. Every email has a link to stop them, and alerts can be delayed if we hit our daily sending limit.
- A Founder badge if you are one of the first 100 companies listed, for as long as you stay listed.
- There is no subscription and your listing doesn't expire. Only someone paying more moves you down.
Your listing
- There is one floor per website. Social media profiles and app store pages are not accepted.
- Your first payment sets the company name, description and category. To change them later, contact us.
- Links on the tower are paid links, marked as sponsored for search engines. They bring visitors, not search rankings.
- We don't promise any number of visitors, clicks or sales.
What isn't allowed
We can hide or remove a listing that includes or promotes:
- A company you don't run or have permission to list
- Fake or misleading claims about you or anyone else, or attacks on another company or person
- Scams, fake investments or anything illegal
- Adult content, gambling, weapons or drugs
- Hate, harassment or violence
- Malware, phishing or sites that trick visitors
See something that breaks these rules? Click the floor and choose "Report this listing". A listing removed for breaking these rules is not refunded.
